Hightstown Borough Mayor Lawrence D. Quattrone declared August as Police Appreciate Month during the Hightstown Borough Police Department promotions and appointments ceremony Aug. 11.
Hightstown Borough officials will be placing blue ribbons on lampposts along the Central Business District downtown in honor of local police officers for the month of August. The news comes after a successful National Night Out on Aug. 2.
“As mayor, I would like to express my thanks to the members of the Hightstown Police Department for its efforts on behalf of the residents every day of the year,” said Mayor Quattrone. “The blue ribbons are being installed to remind all citizens to thank the officers for their service.”
Chief Frank Gendron and the entire department are dedicated to providing the utmost service to the community they serve.
