PRINCETON: Woman who went missing found dead in apparent hit-and-run

By Lea Kahn, Staff Writer
The body of a woman who was reported missing from her daughter’s home on Worths Mill Lane was found Saturday morning in a wooded area off Mercer Road, near Gallup Road, according to the Princeton Police Department.
A passerby discovered the body of Xufeng Huang, 69, around 10 a.m., on the south side of Mercer Road. She had apparently been struck by a hit-and-run driver while she was walking on Mercer Road, police said. Worths Mill Lane is located off Hale Drive, which in turn is located off Mercer Road.
The exact time of Ms. Huang’s death is not known. She was reported missing from her daughter’s home Sept. 15. She was last seen by family members around 6:30 p.m. Ms. Huang, who is from China, was visiting her daughter and was not familiar with the area, police said.
A source familiar with the matter said Sunday that the woman had a camera with her, giving rise to the thought she might have gone out to take pictures.
The investigation into Ms. Huang’s death is continuing, police said. Anyone with information on the incident should call the Princeton Police Department at 609-921-2100.
