A Princeton man, who believed he was helping a woman when he went to the Princeton Police Department headquarters to bail her out, found himself in the same boat Sept. 9.
Jay Outhier, 32, of Princeton was arrested at the Police Department headquarters on an outstanding warrant for $89 that had been issued by the Highland Park Municipal Court at 11:35 p.m. Sept. 9.
Mr. Outhier had gone to the Police Department headquarters to post bail for Carolyn Steber. The 29-year-old Roebling resident was arrested on a warrant from the Princeton Municipal Court after she was stopped by police for driving an unregistered car on Spruce Street.
Both Mr. Outhier and Ms. Steber were released after posting bail.
