PLAINSBORO POLICE BLOTTER: Sept. 8

  • Vandals damaged a car window and a window on a house, both on MacNamee Street, and also damaged the side door and rear window of the Positano Mediterranean Grill on Schalks Crossing Road, the front door of the Casa Rosaria and the windows above the front door of Steak & Hoagie, both on Plainsboro Road. The vandalism was discovered after police responded to investigate a vandalism incident on MacNamee Street at 12:59 a.m. Sept. 8. The cases are still under investigation. 
  • Mark Dorbor, 21, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $500 from Bordentown Township Municipal Court after he was stopped on Route 1 south at 12:25 a.m. Sept. 5 for having an improperly displayed license plate and an inoperable rear license plate light. He was also issued summonses for improper display of a license plate and driving while his license was suspended. 
  • James P. Acton Jr., 36, of Trenton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:04 a.m. Sept. 4 while police investigated a report of a possible assault. During the investigation, police observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. 
  • Alexis Peralta, 34, of North Brunswick, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $1,500 from New Brunswick Municipal Court at 10:39 p.m. Sept. 3 after he was observed failing to maintain his lane on Route 1 South. He was also issued summonses for failure to maintain lane and failure to use a turn signal. 
