EAST WINDSOR PAL SOCCER for the week of 11/11/16

Arsenal close to clinching division 
The East Windsor PAL U12 Arsenal is one point away from clinching its division after a 5-2 win over the Howell Hot Shots.
The forwards picked up the slack in this game as Allie Szelag scored three goals with three assists from Angelina Benitez. Forward Lola Huang added a goal and Charlotte Garcia curled in a corner kick for the fifth Arsenal goal. Abby Carter kept the pressure on the Howell defense with a few near misses.
Alayna Giampolo. Elise Price, Marcella Hirschman, and Nishan Pannu all contributed to the Arsenal ball movement with excellent play on the wings.
The Arsenal will play its final games on the road, with rival Manalapan Xtreme up next. 
Thunder girls remain unbeaten 
The EW PAL U14 Girls Thunder remained unbeaten and alone in second place in MOSA Premier Division. They defeated the Howell Heat 5-1 on Sunday at home.
The goals came early in this contest as Izzy Del Toro recorded her first hat trick of the season. Isabella Benitez drove home the second goal of the game and Teresa Alison added one to seal the victory.
Kaela Solari distributed the ball well out of the midfield and Karly McKenna stepped up and started at the sweeper position after injuries forced Thunder to change up the regular starting lineup.
Up next for Thunder is a road match-up vs. Battle of Monmouth. 
