WEST WINDSOR: One of two incumbents voted back onto school board

West Windsor Township voters sent one of two incumbent school boards member back for another three-year term on the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District Board of Education.
Incumbent school board member Louisa Ho fended off several challengers to keep her seat, but incumbent school board member Scott Powell lost his bid for re-election to the board.
Ms. Ho received 3,816 votes to hold onto her seat, and challenger Carol Herts earned 3,763 votes to take the second seat. She was followed by running mate Deborah Marinsky, who got 3,682 votes.
Richard Kaye, who served on the school board from 2005 to 2014, received 3,185 votes. He was trailed by Mr. Powell, the incumbent, who received 976 votes and Mirna White, a newcomer who got 424 votes.
