Arsenal win MOSA title 
The EW PAL Girls U12 Arsenal went to Toms River knowing that they needed a tie or a win to clinch a first place championship in MOSA league play.
The game was played in frigid blustery conditions and wind played a major factor in the game.
The Arsenal dominated possession and had many scoring opportunities in the first half but were not able to score.
Angelina Benitez drove home the winning goal on an assist from Abby Carter in the second half to seal the victory while Rachael Charsky, Charlotte Garcia and Tanya Aughenbaugh shut down the Toms River attack all game long and helped secure the 1-0 victory.
This is the fourth league title for the Arsenal in seven seasons. The final record in MOSA this season was 9 wins, 1 loss, 0 ties.
Arsenal team members include: goalkeeper Radha Ghate; fullbacks Rachael Charsky, Charlotte Garcia, Tanya Aughenbaugh, Marcella Hirschman; midfielders Abby Carter, Anna Zappola, Megan Khazem, Nishan Pannu; forwards Angelina Benitez, Allie Szelag, Alayna Giampolo, Elise Price and Lola Huang.
The Arsenal is coached by Anthony Benitez, Sebastian Szelag and Jeff Jerry.
Thunder take second place 
The EW PAL Girls U14 Thunder finished the MOSA season in the competitive Premier Division in second place and undefeated with 5 wins, 0 losses, and 5 ties, including a 0-0 draw with German American Kickers on Friday evening.
The Thunder led all teams in the division with only four goals allowed in 10 games, by far the best in the division.
The U14 Thunder team members inlcude: goalkeeper Ella Radigan; fullbacks Bella Cammarata, Calleigh Kosman, Karly McKenna, Mia Huang; midfielders Annie Kosa, Isabella Benitez, Izzy Del Toro, Kaela Solari, Lara Koppel; forwards Anna Radigan, Emilia Vallejos, Kelsey Emslie and Teresa Allison.
The Thunder is coached by Tom Cammarata, Emilio Del Toro, and Anthony Benitez. 
