The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016.
Athif M. Hussain, 25, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 2:05 a.m. Oct. 27 at the Holiday Inn.
An officer checked on a suspicious occupied vehicle parked at the Holiday Inn. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested and later released pending court action.
Fernando Tiniganay-Tigre, 22, of Hightstown, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving and driving while suspended after being stopped at 1:05 a.m. Oct. 29 on Dutch Neck Road.
An officer conducted a vehicle stop on Dutch Neck Road for a motor vehicle infraction. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Tiniganay-Tigre was arrested and later released pending court action.
Omyia M. Allen, 18, of Brentwood, N.Y., was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a prohibited weapon (stun gun), making an improper turn, speeding, having an obstructed view and for being an unlicensed driver after being stopped at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 30 on Mercer Street.
An officer conducted a vehicle stop on Mercer Street for a motor vehicle infraction. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a stun gun. The driver was arrested and later released pending court action.
The complainant reported that while hosting a small gathering of people at their residence at 2:32 p.m. Oct. 30 on Granite Road, one of the guests is believed to have stolen $1800.00 cash from her purse.
Gregory Liedtka-Nixon, 32, of East Windsor, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to observe a traffic signal and failure to inspect after being stopped at 12:53 a.m. Oct. 31 on Route 130.
An conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 571 near Lanning Boulevard after observing a vehicle operating recklessly. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Liedtka-Nixon was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was later released pending court action.
Three residents of Princeton Arms West and one resident of Dorchester Arms reported that someone entered their unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours Oct. 31 and stole random items including loose change, cell phone chargers, a battery charger valued at $120, a Dell Laptop valued at $800 and a Nikon Camera valued at $851.
Christy A. Wham, 25, of Robbinsville, was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane after being stopped at 12:28 p.m. Nov. 1 on Route 130.
An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 south near Route 33 after observing a vehicle operating recklessly. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Ms. Wham was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. She was later released pending court action.
The Hightstown Police Department initiated the following police reports Nov. 1 through Nov. 5, 2016.
Daquan A. Perry, 22, of Camden, was arrested Nov. 1 on an active warrant out of Camden City Municipal Court, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Mercer Street. Mr. Perry was transported to headquarters, booked, processed, and later released on his own recognizance with a pending court date.
Neisa A. Taffur, 24, of East Windsor, turned herself in Nov. 1 on an active warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Ms. Taffur was booked, processed, and later released after posting bail.
Lee Changhoon, 50, of East Windsor, was arrested Nov. 3 on an active warrant out of East Windsor Municipal Court, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Dutch Neck Road. Mr. Changhoon was transported to headquarters, booked, processed, and later released after posting bail.
Eugene E. Sarafin, 79, of the 600 Block of South Main Street, was arrested Nov. 4 for harassment after a patrol was detailed to the 500 Block of South Main Street for a report of two individuals arguing over the removal of a political sign on a front lawn. Mr. Sarafin was transported to headquarters, booked, processed, and released on a summons complaint with a pending court date.
Mark R. Barber, 38, of Matawan, was arrested Nov. 5 for an active warrant out of Holmdel Township Municipal Court, and for hindering his own apprehension, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Orchard Avenue. Mr. Barber was transported to headquarters, booked, processed, and later released after posting bail.
While patrolling the area of Manlove Avenue Nov. 5, an officer observed a suspicious vehicle, parked with its interior lights on. A short time later, the officer exited from his patrol vehicle and approached the vehicle on foot. While at the driver side window, the officer observed two female subjects seated in the vehicle. When the officer announced himself, the female subject seated in the driver’s seat, later identified as Natalie E. Tuchez, 22, from Hightstown, attempted to conceal CDS in the vehicle. The other female subject, seated in the front passenger seat, was later identified as Janice Alvarez, 23, from Hightstown.
Ms. Tuchez, and Ms. Alvarez were subsequently arrested for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Tuchez, and Ms. Alvarez were transported to headquarters, booked, processed, and released with a pending court date.
