POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 12/9/16

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016. 
Kevin J. Mora-Chacon, 21, of Hightstown, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, hindering apprehension and obstructing justice; and Christopher P. Harris, 29 of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 12:40 a.m. Nov. 24 on Route 130.
An officer responded to Royal Plaza for the report of individuals on the roof. Further investigation revealed that two individuals had accessed the roof-top and were in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested and later released pending court action. 
Nicholas J. Warminsky, 27, of New Brunswick, was charged with DUI, DUI in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to exhibit registration after being stopped at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 27 on Probasco Road.
An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Probasco Road after observing a vehicle operating recklessly. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Warminsky was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was later released pending court action. 
The Hightstown Police Department initiated the following police reports from Nov. 29 through Dec. 2, 2016. 
Gerald L. Garrett, 45, of Pemberton, was in the custody Nov. 29 in Burlington County Jail on an active warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Mr. Garrett was then transported by a Hightstown Officer to the Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility, in lieu of bail. 
Frank D. Davis, 48, of Cranbury, was arrested Nov. 30 on an active warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court, after officers were dispatched to the area of Monmouth Street for an open-line 911 call. Mr. Davis was transported to headquarters, booked, processed, and later committed to the Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility, in lieu of bail. 
Anthony D. Mauro, 31, of Bordentown, was arrested Dec. 2 for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and for possessing of hypodermic needles, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Bank Street. Mr. Mauro was transported to headquarters, booked, processed, and released on a summons complaint with a pending court date. 
