Hightstown: Student’s artwork chosen for Statehouse exhibit

A drawing by Hightstown High School senior Cassie Sokoloff has been chosen to represent Mercer County at the 2017 New Jersey State Youth Art Month exhibit at the Trenton Statehouse., Two works of art at the high school level are chosen by jury per county. Cassie and other New Jersey student artists will be honored at a closing reception March 31 at the Statehouse in Trenton., The 2017 NJ State YAM exhibit will be on display at the Trenton Statehouse in the annex yunnel at 125 W. State Street from March 24 through March 31. Visitors need a photo I.D. to enter the Statehouse., The Mercer County YAM exhibit will also showcase artwork from student artists at Hightstown High School as well as other schools in the East Windsor Regional School District. This exhibit will be at Artworks, 19 Everett Alley, Trenton, N.J., 08608, from March 13 through March 31.
