Limited train service now available to commuters after morning derailment

Commuters traveling out of New York will be able to use “limited” train service starting at 4 p.m., said NJ Transit in reacting to the rail problems caused by an Amtrak derailment earlier this morning., Service in and out of Manhattan has been suspended since this morning, when an Acela train hit a NJ Transit Montclair-Boonton train around 9 a.m. NJ Transit said in a statement that several Amtrak cars derailed, with the some of the NJ Transit train passengers and crew suffering minor injuries., Information can be found at www.njtransit.com.
