A thief took a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge cell phone belonging to a 49-year-old Hamilton Township resident, which the victim had put down on a counter as he was buying lottery tickets at the Faber News-Gift stand on Wallace Road. After he left the store, he realized he did not have his cell phone. When he went back to find it, it was missing. The theft was reported at 12:52 p.m. Feb. 16., A 38-year-old Montclair resident reported that someone withdrew $260 in cash, using the victim’s Citibank ATM card, at Wegman’s grocery store on Nassau Park Boulevard on Feb. 11. The victim, who reported the incident at 6:41 p.m. Feb. 15, was nowhere near the store and did not give his ATM card to anyone., Someone removed two D-rings, valued at $200, from the bumper of a 2015 Jeep Wrangler while it was parked at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on Route 1 at 10:49 p.m. Feb. 11., A 50-year-old West Windsor Township resident reported that someone removed a box of merchandise, containing a basket for a bicycle and an electric kettle valued at $57.49, from her front door. FedEx notified her at 2:11 p.m. Feb. 10 that the package had been delivered, but when she returned home at 3 p.m., it was missing. The theft was reported at 2:40 p.m. Feb. 11., A 38-year-old West Windsor Township resident reported the theft of a set of headphones, valued at $748.99, which he had ordered from Amazon.com. He received email notification of the delivery, but when he checked his mail, there was no package. The theft occurred between Feb. 7 and Feb. 8, and was reported at 4:04 p.m. Feb. 9., A woman reported the theft of her wallet from her handbag at the Barnes & Noble bookstore cafe at Princeton Marketfair at 2:43 p.m. Feb. 5. She was sitting in the cafe and noticed a man standing close to her chair. When he left, she noticed her scarf in his hand and approached him about it. He said he thought someone had dropped the scarf. She retrieved her car, which had been in her bag, and then checked her bag. She found her wallet was missing.
