Cranbury School district eliminates administrative position

Financial constraints led the Cranbury School District this week to eliminate an administrative job for the upcoming school year., The school board voted Tuesday to cut a supervisor of curriculum and instruction “for reasons of economy and as a result of district restructuring,” according to the board resolution that passed unanimously. At the moment, the district has two such supervisors, Erin Peacock and Roxann Bryant., Chief School administrator Susan L. Genco said after the board meeting that the district would be advertising for the new consolidated position “very soon.” In theory, Peacock and Bryant will be able to apply for the job if they wish., The resolution, read, in part, that the “affected employees will promptly receive appropriate notification of their employment status.”, The current school year ends June 30.
