Arlene M. Lachenauer, 73, of Princeton died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Morris Hall Meadows in Lawrenceville.
Born in Perth Amboy, she was raised in Edison, where she attended school. She was a graduate of Trenton State College, and she received her Master’s from Ball State University in Indiana. She was a high school guidance counselor in the Edison School District. She also taught in the Riverside California School District. She taught for 4 years at the America School on the US Military Base in England. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church.
Daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Kiraly) Kerezsi, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Herman “Rusty” Lachenauer, her brother Alex Kerezsi, a niece Sally Ann Kerezsi, a cousin Ruth Kopf and many wonderful friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Paul’s Church, 216 Nassau St., Princeton.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2016 at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
