Patrina “Pat”(Termini) Morris, 72

Heaven gained another angel on Sunday June 4th, as Patrina “Pat”(Termini) Morris, of Greensboro, NC, lost her battle with lung cancer at the age of 72.

She was born in Bronx, New York, on March 4, 1945. She raised her children in Hightstown and Roosevelt, NJ, before retiring in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she resided for the last 15 years.

Pat exemplified the term “larger than life” and had a profound impact on anyone lucky enough to cross paths with her. Family was the cornerstone of her legacy and she was in her glory when “all her babies” were gathered in the same room together. She was a raconteur and told a story with more animation than Walt Disney. She exuded love and was the first to call when someone needed advice, a shoulder to cry on or the answer to just about anything.

Pat bled New York Yankee blue and rarely missed a game whether on the radio or tv. She loved to quilt, playmah-jongg with her friends and was unbeatable in the game of scrabble.

She is survived by her spouse, John “Jack” Slover; daughter, son-in-law and family, Janet M. (Morris) and John F. Kosco and grandchildren, Samantha M. Kosco, Kelly A. (Kosco) and her husband Stu W. Michel, and Jessica H. Kosco; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Donna M. Morris; a son, daughter-in-law and family, Christopher M. and Kristin C. Morris and grandchildren, Ryan and Emma Morris; a stepdaughter, stepson-in-law and family, Michele (Slover) and Frank Bongiovanni and stepgranddaughters, Lauren and Justine Bongiovanni; a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, John and Sara Slover; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and family pets.

There will be a memorial service for Pat on Monday June 19th at 11AM at Saint Pius X Catholic Church, 2210 North Elm Street, Greensboro NC, 27408. The family will receive friends following the services.

To aid in further cancer research, Pat has donated her body to Medcure, an organization dedicated to improving the lives and health of others. Her ashes will be interred at the East Windsor Cemetery, located in NJ at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can by made to the American Lung Cancer Society.
