Richard G. Dalcourt, 19

Richard G. Dalcourt, 19, of Plainsboro died Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Born in Princeton, he had been a lifelong resident of Plainsboro. Richard was a graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North class of 2017 and was a freshman, majoring in mechanical engineering, at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Grandson of the late Dr. Gerard and Catherine Dalcourt, the late Richard Young and step-grandson of the late Robert Brokaw, he is survived by his loving parents Al and Kathleen (Young) Dalcourt, his belovedsisters Victoria Dalcourt and her fiance’ Jared Angle and Paige Dalcourt and her boyfriend Josh Bloom, his maternal grandmother Nancy Brokaw, his uncle Jim and aunt Diane Dalcourt, great-aunt Pat Baldwin, great-uncle Frank Jaken, several cousins and many loving friends.
Rick was a quiet, kind and caring person, often going way out of his way to help others.  He had a witty sense of humor and was a lover of video games, action movies and his cat, Heart. He loved spending time with his sisters and he enjoyed having his friends over for countless games of pool.  Rick made a positive impact on people’s lives and he will be sorely missed. His parents urge others to recognize the signs of depression and seek help immediately.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s memory to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation, www.bbrfoundation.org
Friends may call on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Queenship of Mary Church, 19 Dey Road, Plainsboro.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Queenship of Mary Church.Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
