Lawrence High School came through with the dominating victory over Princeton High School in this week’s Mercer County “Game of the Week”.
The game on Oct. 11 took place in Princeton, where Lawrence produced an impressive performance en route to a 53-7 victory.
The Cardinals were sparked by Deon Mclean, who rung up four touchdowns, one of which was off a kickoff return. Lawrence’s Careem Frost delivered three rushing touchdowns while Diesel Barnes scored one TD in the victory.
Lawrence improved its record to 3-2. Next up, Lawrence has a home game with Steinert High School on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m.
Princeton was led by senior running back Stephen Avis, who recorded 34 yards on 16 carries and accounted for the team’s only touchdown of the game, which came in the second quarter.
Princeton dropped to 0-5 on the season with the loss.
The Little Tigers will be on the road against West Windsor-Plainsboro High School on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m.
