TheMetuchen Recreation Commission is sponsoring Kinder-Karate Camp the week of July 7-11 from 9 a.m. to noon. Kinder-Karate teaches children about respect, being a good listener, being kind to others, and the fundamentals of self-defense. It is a developmentally appropriate introductory class. The camp is available to children ages 3-5 and 6-12 and will be held at Hampton Field, with an indoor location, in case of rain, to be announced. The cost is $150 per child. Children should bring water and a snack.
