Allentown resident supports Fritts for mayor

I am supporting Borough Council President Thomas Fritts for mayor of Allentown. In his three years on the council he has an impressive record.

As chairman of the Sewer Utility Committee, Fritts just announced the award of the waste water treatment plant construction contract, saving the borough $1.5 million over the previous Dewberry plant. He also negotiated to eliminate over $200,000 in New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection delay fines.

Fritts worked to resolve the borough parking crisis, bringing La Piazza and the United Methodist Church to work together for the benefit of both parties, as well as the community.

Fritts is working with Robbinsville Mayor Fried to bring traffic calming measures on Church Street. He worked with the New Jersey Department of Transportation for signs on Interstate 195, directing trucks and buses to use Exit 8, bypassing Allentown. He introduced traffic speed enforcement zones on Main, Church and High streets, and on Waker Avenue.

Fritts moved shared court services to Upper Freehold Township, saving thousands of dollars. He is working proactively against development of the Stein property along Probasco Drive by engaging Upper Freehold leadership.

Thomas Fritts brings people together to negotiate resolutions to problems. We need such a person to tackle issues in and around Allentown’s borders. Please vote for Thomas Fritts for mayor of Allentown on Nov. 5.
