Joy Bauer to headline HearthealthExpo at Count Basie Feb. 9

The Count Basie Center for the Arts and Riverview Medical Center will present HearthealthExpo at the Basie’s Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre located at 99 Monmouth Street in Red Bank on Feb. 9 from 1 to p.m.

Joy Bauer, the noted NBC Today Show expert, best-selling author and leading health authority, will headline the free community event, according to a press release.

‘The event will also feature screenings, educational opportunities and a showcase of Riverview Medical Center services, according to the press release.

Tickets for this event are free and must be downloaded in advance at theBASIE.org. The first 1,000 people in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of Joy Bauer’s latest book, Yummy Yoga, according to the press release.

In addition to Bauer’s presentation, HeartHealthExpo will feature an onstage roundtable of Hackensack Meridian Health physicians and researchers, according to the press release.

The roundtable will be moderated by Alla Rabinovich, MBA, chief operating officer, Hackensack Meridian Health Center for Discovery and Innovation, and sponsored by the Women’s Heart Fund, according to the press release.

An interactive “Teddy Bear Clinic” for children, a demo of breakthrough DiVinci robotic surgery technology, information on physical therapy and cardiac rehabilitation, and BMI screenings will also be available, according to the press release.
