Triple C Housing (Triple C) has been developing affordable housing and providing supportive services to individuals and families since 1979. Throughout its 41 years of continued growth in New Jersey, Triple C has developed affordable housing coupled with community supports for individuals and families of low income, with special needs and veterans.
Beatrice Parkway is a fairly new duplex with accommodations for two families. The left side of the duplex contains three bedrooms and two baths; the right side unit contains three bedrooms and four baths along with a full finished basement. The property was built in 2013 and contains Anderson windows and doors, Rheem tankless hot water heaters, granite countertops, two zone heating, central air conditioning and a combination of laminate flooring and carpeting.
The project was funded by a grant of $700,000 from the New Jersey Department of Community under the National Housing Trust Fund and a loan from M&T Bank. The NJ Department of Community Affairs also provides two project based rental vouchers where the tenants will pay no more than 30% of their income towards rent and utilities.
Triple C is currently screening potential families for tenancy. All residents must fit into one of three special needs categories: The Head of Housing has a diagnosed mental illness, the family in homeless (with a preference for veterans) or the family are victims of domestic violence. All tenants much have incomes under 30% of AMI adjusted by family size.
