A s I embark on introducing myself to the readers of the Examiner, I feel like a kid on her first day of school — a bit anxious and unsure, but excited and hopeful.
In her years with the Examiner, Jennifer Kohlhepp did a fine job of keeping a finger on the pulse of the communities, garnering the attention of locals who wished to be in the know, along with nationwide recognition at times. Although Jennifer has moved on to other pursuits, it is my hope that I can carry on her legacy of thorough and objective reporting that captures the interest of the residents of Allentown, Millstone, Roosevelt and Upper Freehold. After leaving my post as a reporter with Greater Media about three years ago, I have returned to my true passion. It is great to be back, and I look forward to upholding the editorial standards that have been set before me.
As a new kid on the block, it will undoubtedly take some time to become intimately acquainted with your communities, but I plan to do just that.
I would like to invite each one of you to reach out to me — to share your input, ideas, suggestions and concerns.
