Burlington County reports 10 new positive COVID-19 cases; three from Mount Laurel pass away

After reporting that there were 10 new Burlington County residents who tested positive for coronavirus on March 24., the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders announced in a press release on March 25 that there are another 10 new cases of COVID-19 in the county.

Burlington Township had two people test positive for the virus, a 23 year-old male resident and a 42 year-old female resident.

A 46 year-old male resident of Bordentown Township tested positive for COVID-19.

That brings the total of residents in Bordentown who have been reported to have the coronavirus to five.

There have now been four cases reported of COVID-19 in Burlington. Two Florence Township residents have tested positive for the virus.

The press release also mentioned that three people in the county from Mount Laurel – an 87-year-old female, an 80-year-old male and an 85-year-old male – passed away from the virus.

Burlington County will continue to release updates on case numbers in the county every day at 4 p.m.
