Olivia Diana of Marlboro was among the 20 University of Scranton, Pa., students who volunteered as judges for the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science regional competition held in February at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The students who volunteered were taking courses in science at Scranton. Olivia is a freshman in Scranton’s Panuska College of Professional Studies.
Danielle Finelli of Colts Neck has been named to the dean’s list at Emerson College, Boston, Mass., for the 2019 fall semester. Danielle is majoring in marketing communications.
Forty Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa., student-athletes, including Lindsay Press of Colts Neck, were recognized for their performance in the classroom and on the court, mat and track with their selection to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter 2019-20 season. Lindsay is a member of Muhlenberg’s track and field team. To be named to the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative GPA.
Stephen Hawthorne of Freehold was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest all-discipline collegiate honor society. Stephen was initiated at Elon University, Elon, N.C.
