Chamber of Commerce to host business seminar

The Edison Chamber of Commerce is hosting a half-day seminar titled “It’s All About Money — Networking With a Twist.” The speakers are area executives who will discuss how business knowledge and networking can increase revenues.

The event, which is open to the public, will be held on Nov. 4, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Pines Manor on Route 27 in Edison. Tickets range from $25-$60 and include a continental breakfast. A business expo will be featured as well. Members who purchase tickets are invited to exhibit at the business expo free of charge. Advance registration is encouraged; walk-ins are welcome. To register, call (732) 738-9482 or visit www.edisonchamber.com.

The presentations are “Learn More” with John T. Spitznagel, CEO and chairman of ESP Pharma; “Earn More” with Jim Barnoski, sales trainer for Jim Madonna Marketing; and Vincent Ragusa, financial adviser for Smith Barney Investing, who will speak on how to keep more of what you earn. They will all participate in question-and-answer sessions after their speeches.

“We are pleased to host an educational event with these three guests,” said Gloria Dittman, president of the Edison Chamber of Commerce. “Each will bring unique insight to small-business owners in our community. We strive to continue a tradition of progress and growth.”
