The Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative has announced that the Keyport Music Festival 2020 has been postponed and rescheduled for Oct. 9, 2021. The event features bluegrass, jazz and blues music.

Organizers of the event said that in the face of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, the combination of large attendance and small venues has made staging the event this year too great a risk for artists, patrons, staff and the community.

Organizers said that in 2021, they hope to welcome back 2019 headliners Tony Trischka, Deadgrass, and Jay Unger and Molly Mason.

The Keyport Music Festival is presented by KBBC, the Business Improvement District for Keyport. Funding is provided by commercial property owners and business operators. The shops and businesses that make the festival possible remain open and welcome visitors to the borough.
