SHOWTIME will premiere the 10-episode legal thriller Your Honor, starring Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Bryan Cranston, on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Cranston stars as Michael Desiato, a respected New Orleans judge whose teenage son, Adam (Hunter Doohan), is involved in a hit-and-run that leads to a high stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices. SAG Award winner Michael Stuhlbarg stars as Jimmy Baxter, the much-feared head of a crime family opposite Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Hope Davis as his wife, Gina, who might be even more dangerous than her husband.
Hallmark continues the holiday spirit on Sunday, Dec. 6, with two new original movies. First up is Christmas She Wrote, airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. When Kayleigh (Danica McKellar), a romance writer, has her column cancelled right before Christmas, she heads home to reconnect with her family. Kayleigh gets an unexpected visit from the man (Dylan Neal) who cancelled her column who fights not only to bring her back to the publisher but also for her heart. Then at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is the new, original movie, Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas, where five guests are mysteriously invited to an inn to celebrate Christmas. With the help of the owner Ben (Stephen Huszar), Sarah (Lacey Chabert) discovers that an event from the past may connect them all and change their lives forever.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as ABC premieres season eight of the popular The Great Christmas Light Fight competition series with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. America’s brightest houses bring joy to our eyes with the most elaborate and awe-inspiring holiday displays. Each one-hour episode involves four families facing off to compete for $50,000. Lifestyle expert Carter Oosterhouse and famed interior designer Tanya Nayak serve as judges, traveling across the country in search of Christmas decorating on steroids.
The popular series Celebrity IOU returns to HGTV on Monday, Dec. 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The new four-episode season will follow renovation experts Drew and Jonathan Scott as they meet various celebrities at the renovation recipients’ home, ready to work together to create beautiful, customized spaces that reward mentors, friends and family members. Featured are Zooey Deschanel, Justin Hartley, Allison Janney and Rainn Wilson.
