The number of positive cases in South Brunswick over the past week were the second highest since the pandemic started in March.
The increases appear to mirror what health experts had anticipated with the Thanksgiving holiday, according to information provided by the South Brunswick Office of Emergency Management on Dec. 14.
South Brunswick also saw an increase in school-aged children. Many of these cases are entire families becoming ill, according to the statement.
All residents are urged to maintain social distancing, wash hands regularly, and wear cloth face masks over mouth and nose to reduce the spread of the disease.
