No power outages reported in South Brunswick during snowstorm

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – No power outages were reported in South Brunswick throughout this week’s snowstorm.

Most major roadways were cleared as of 5 p.m. Feb. 2, according to an update provided by the South Brunswick Police Department.

Some side streets have packed snow and need extra caution. Travel can be done at reduced speeds. Motorists need to be mindful of snowbanks that may obstruct views at intersections, according to the statement.

Make sure vehicles are cleared of snow before starting to travel. Residents should leave extra time for their morning commute as conditions on other roadways outside of the township may not be as clear, according to the statement.

Watch for any refreezing at night.

South Brunswick saw an average of 11.5 inches of snow from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2.

No power outages were reported from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3.
