A&E Network will take viewers through the most incredible caught-on-camera moments in air travel with its new original eight-episode series Fasten Your Seatbelt, hosted by actor/producer/director Robert Hays. The limited series premieres with back-to-back episodes this Wednesday, July 21, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Each thirty-minute show tells the true stories behind the most incredible moments from airports and flights. Air travel is a universal experience that often elicits a powder keg of emotions. Whether it’s caught on surveillance cameras or by cell phones of fellow passengers, Hays will take viewers through moments that range from unbelievably shocking to humorous and heartwarming. As the pent-up demand for air travel is currently increasing, we are offered a first-class ticket to see what happens when people from all walks of life are thrown together for hours at a time. From unruly passengers to mile high weddings and pedicures on the plane, viewers will get their boarding pass for a non-stop flight of emotions.
In the ultimate test of their taste buds, talented chefs, restaurant critics, cookbook authors and accomplished home cooks are competitors vying to win $50,000 in the new high-stakes primetime Food Network show Money Hungry, which airs a sneak peek on Sunday, July 25, at 10 p.m. ET/PT before moving to its regular timeslot on Tuesday, July 27, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. In the five-episode series hosted by Kal Penn, competitors showcase their impressive palates in a series of increasingly complex tasting challenges that push their senses and culinary knowledge to the limits. With each dish dramatically revealed under a cloche, the action begins with 60 seconds of rapid-fire tastings where the competitors must identify specific ingredients, then proceeds to the main course round where the challenges become more difficult with every reveal. Each episode has two guest panelists, who are available to provide limited use flavor favors lifelines to competitors. In the end, only those that survive through the final tasting are awarded $50,000.
SHOWTIME Sports will premiere the documentary Kevin Garnett: Anything is Possible on Friday, July 30, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The film focuses on Garnett’s NBA career, with insights from the likes of coach Doc Rivers and NBA stars Isiah Thomas, Allen Iverson, Paul Pierce and others.
