The second event for this year’s Middlesex County Business Series, “Leading Locally in the 4th Industrial Revolution: The Future of Automation,” will explore how unprecedented advances in autonomous technology, artificial intelligence, food innovation and more are disrupting traditional business models and impacting personal and professional lives.
As the county and the community lead together, panelists Balki Iyer, chief commercial officer at EOS Energy Services; Brendan Kaplan, director of transformation and the MTA; and Jyoti Sharma, senior manager of network planning at Verizon, will examine how these advancements will positively impact our families, businesses, organizations, and communities.
This free event will be held at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 9 in the West Hall Parkview Room of Middlesex College, 2600 Woodbridge Ave., Edison.
It is free, and is open to the public and media.

The fifth annual Middlesex County Business Summit, Leading with a Purpose, will be held on Oct. 21 with a panel of forward-thinking business leaders, entrepreneurs, and other executives who will address how pre-pandemic business standards have been shattered and what steps they’re taking to operate in this evolving new normal.
