A man has been charged with inappropriately touching a 17-year-old male victim in the presence of a child at his place of employment.
Michael Krevolt, 49, of South Amboy, was charged on Sept. 14 with one count of second-degree sexual assault, one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, and two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, according to information provided by Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Acting Chief Joseph Mandola of the Old Bridge Police Department.
Krevolt was charged following an investigation by Old Bridge Detective Jessica Caffey and Detective Jose Rosario of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, which determined that, on Sept. 12, Krevolt allegedly touched the victim in the presence of another juvenile at the Burger King located at 3001 Route 516 in Old Bridge, where Krevolt was employed.
Krevolt is presently lodged at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center where he is detained pending a pre-trial detention hearing in Superior Court, as of press time.
