Hopewell Township police blotter

A 26-year-old Trenton man was charged with burglary and theft for allegedly breaking into the Exxon gasoline station on Pennington Road and stealing less than $200 from the cash register March 31. He was released on a summons.

A 42-year-old New Brunswick man was charged with possession of fraudulent government documents after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Louellen Street March 29. He was found to be driving with a fictitious temporary registration and driving without a license, police said. He was released on a summons.

A 41-year-old Philadelphia woman was charged with possession of fraudulent government documents after she was stopped on Bear Tavern Road for a motor vehicle violation March 23. She was found to be driving the vehicle with a fictitious temporary registration and driving without a license, police said. She was released on a summons.

A 42-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Georgia after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 31 on March 30. He was also charged with possession of fraudulent government documents after it was discovered that he was driving the vehicle with a fictitious temporary registration and driving without a license, police said. He was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center on the Georgia warrant.

A 29-year-old Passaic woman was charged with possession of fraudulent government documents after she was stopped on Bear Tavern Road for a motor vehicle violation March 24. The investigation revealed that she was driving the vehicle with a fictitious temporary registration and driving without a license, police said. She was released on a summons.

Someone vandalized a commercial property on Route 31. The vandal entered the property and caused damage, including spray painting graffiti on the walls. The incident was reported March 31.

A 35-year-old Roebling man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Bear Tavern Road April 1. He was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center on the outstanding warrant.

A 21-year-old Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, man was charged with possession of fraudulent government documents after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Bear Tavern Road April 2. Through the investigation, it was discovered that he was driving the vehicle with a fictitious temporary registration and driving without a license, police said. He was released on a summons.
