The Enjoy Explore India Summer Exploratorium will hold mini workshops throughout July from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 610 Towne Centre Drive, North Brunswick.
The Friday, July 9, workshop will discuss animals through puppets and storytelling; Monday, July 12, will use recycled materials to make a jungle collage; Wednesday, July 14, will teach Indian cooking; Friday, July 16, will feature Indian motif and banner creation; Monday, July 19, will be toy-making; Wednesday, July 21, will teach songs of India; Friday, July 23, will focus on using cartoon characters to depict Indian stories; Monday, July 26, will have participants create portraits of kings and queens of India using jewels and fabrics; Wednesday, July 28, will talk about the red rose; and Friday, July 30, will center around the Indian elephant.
The workshops are open to children ages 5-13 of any background with an interest in Indian culture.
