In February, the Eatontown Public Schools underwent the New Jersey Quality
Single Accountability Continuum (NJQSAC) review conducted by the Monmouth County Executive Superintendent’s Office.
The district received high scores in all five of the key areas of review and the New Jersey commissioner of education will recommend to the New Jersey Board of Education that the Eatontown Public Schools be certified as providing a thorough and efficient system of education, and that the district be designated as a “high-performing” district, according to a press release from the school district.
In order to receive a “high-performing” designation, a school district must satisfy at least 80% of the weighted indicators in each of the five key areas of review, including Instruction and Program; Fiscal Management; Governance; Operations; and Personnel.
Eatontown Public Schools achieved the following scores: Instruction and Program, 85%; Fiscal Management, 98%; Governance, 100%; Operations, 98%; and Personnel, 100%.
Pursuant to state code, school districts are reviewed every three years for the Quality Single Accountability Continuum (QSAC) review process.
This process involves the executive county superintendent conducting a review of each district’s self-assessment District Performance Review document and analyzing district performance against critical indicators in each of the five NJQSAC areas.
The scores determined after NJQSAC review are valid for three years or until the next NJQSAC review, according to the press release.
