Princeton Healthcare to hold health lectures

Princeton Healthcare will hold the following health lectures and screenings for township residents age 55 and older at the South Brunswick Senior Center in the Office on Aging, Route 522, Monmouth Junction:

 “Stroke is an Emergency” will be held 10:45-11:45 a.m. April 6. Learn the early warning signs of a stroke, when to seek medical attention, and prevention methods.

 “Health As We Age” will be held 12:30-1:15 p.m. April 30. Discover the impact that aging has on skin, bones, muscles and the cardiopulmonary system.

 “Take Control of Your Health” will be held for six consecutive Wednesdays from noon to 2:30 p.m. beginning May 6. The program is designed to help attendees find practical ways to deal with pain and fatigue, explore better nutrition and exercise options, learn about new treatment options, and explore effective ways to communicate with physicians and family about health concerns.

 Blood pressure screenings will be held 10 a.m. to noon on April 21. No appointment is necessary.
