The Jersey Blue Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) celebrated Veterans Day and the 50-year commemoration of the Vietnam War on Nov. 9 at Buccleuch Mansion in New Brunswick. Chapter members and guests enjoyed a flag-folding ceremony by the John Basilone Marine Corps League Color Guard. The flag was presented to World War II veteran Louis Luczu Jr. of North Brunswick, pictured with Susan Luczu. The DAR presented certificates to Luczu for his military service in the Persian Gulf Command in Iran and to his son, Louis J. Luczu of East Brunswick, for his military service in the Vietnam War.
