An East Windsor Township resident was charged with driving while intoxicated after his vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle on Old Trenton Road and Village Road East at 5:43 p.m. Nov. 29. The man was processed and released.
A Philadelphia man was charged with driving while intoxicated after his vehicle was observed on the wrong side of the median on Carnegie Center Boulevard at 1:35 a.m. Nov. 25. The driver had pulled up next to a patrol car, which was stopped at a traffic light on the correct side of the median and was waiting to turn onto Route 1. When the traffic light turned green, the driver turned left onto Route 1 and the officer initiated a motor vehicle stop. The driver was processed and released.
Two Morrisville, Pa., residents were charged with shoplifting Nov. 14 after they allegedly filled two shopping carts full of groceries, valued at $1,278.69, and pushed them out of Wegmans at the Nassau Park Pavilion without paying for them. They were processed and released.
A Haddon Heights woman was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle Nov. 8. The owner, who had left a cellphone in the 2021 Toyota 4Runner SUV, tracked the SUV’s location by monitoring the cellphone. The victim called police, who located the SUV parked at Mercer County Community College. The woman was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Bloomfield. She was processed and released.
A Trenton woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after she was allegedly observed urinating outside of her car while it was parked in the right lane on Route 1 at 3:04 a.m. Nov. 4. A police officer saw her standing outside of her car between two open doors on the passenger side and stopped to investigate. The investigation revealed that she had exited the car to urinate. The officer determined that she was driving under the influence. She was processed and released.
