Mrs. Marrone, 97, of the Somerset section of Franklin Township, and formerly North Brunswick, died Feb. 3, 2009, at Spring Hills Assisted Living, Somerset. She was employed at Scharf Garment Co., New Brunswick, retiring in 1973. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union of America for 25 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Marrone, in 1985; a sister, Mary Kirhon; and two grandsons, Brian and Robert Mantarro. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Victor Mantarro of North Brunswick, and Joan and Albert Previte of Monroe Township; five grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. Burial was at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
