The USS Avenger, a longtime science fiction fan association based in central New Jersey, will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. May 18 at the North Brunswick Library, 880 Hermann Road.
This month, the meeting’s program will explore the long-running novel and shortstory series “The Dragonriders of Pern” by Anne McCaffrey. This series tells the tales of humans on a distant planet and their struggles to survive and prosper.
