On display during April in the children’s area of the North Brunswick Library is a collection of children’s ABC books donated by local resident Roz Shaw. Shaw donated more than 100 unique titles from her personal collection gathered over the years as a reading specialist for elementary and middle school students in New York State. Her interest in literacy led to her becoming president of the Amy Bull Crist Reading Council and chairing many committees of the New York State Reading Association. She also served as president of the Association in 2000.
The library is located at 880 Hermann Road and is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. For further information, call 732-246-3545.
