‘Passover Poker,’ film, talks slated at temple

The Sisterhood of Congregation B’nai Tikvah, 1001 Finnegan’s Lane, North Brunswick, will hold “Passover Poker – Let My People Go Out on Saturday Night,” April 6 at 8:30 p.m.

A question-and-answer session with the director of the documentary, “Four Seasons Lodge” will be April 11 at 7:30 p.m. The film by executive producer/director of photography, Albert Maysles, and The New York Times reporter Andrew Jacobs is the story of a group of Holocaust survivors that meet each summer to relive the tragedy. “Latte & Learn,” a discussion group for teens will meet April 15 and May 6 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, Route 1 south, North Brunswick. Teens are invited to attend the free discussion group. The Fifty Plus Group will meet April 24 at 1 p.m. Guest speaker will be Robert Butts of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra discussing “Opera: Romantic Tales of Romance and Passion.” The program is free to members, and all are invited to attend.
