North Brunswick Library, 880 Hermann Road, will welcome Joyce Ann Staples, author of “Cooking With a Jersey Girl,” May 17 at 2 p.m. She will discuss growing up Italian in North Brunswick.
“Cooking” is a compilation of recipes and stories of growing up as a second generation Italian. The event will also feature cheesecake and cookies. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
