Middlesex County Health Department will sponsor a three-day baby-sitting seminar for area youngsters age 11 and older July 25, and Aug. 1 and 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at North Brunswick Library, 880 Hermann Road.
The free seminar will address child development, nutrition, fire and emergency safety, first aid, and toy safety. The library’s international film festival continues with “3-Iron” (Korean) July 27. “Turtles Can fly” (Kurdish) will be shown Aug. 3, “Nina’s Tragedies” (Hebrew) Aug. 10, and “Brothers” (Danish) Aug. 24. St. John’s plans July 22
flea market/garage sale
St. John’s Baptist Church will hold its Garage Sale and Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 22 in the church parking lot, 24 Lake St., Jamesburg. The event will take place rain or shine.
