The American Heart Association (AHA) has announced it will offer free CPR training statewide during the fifth annual CPR Week themed “Heroes Aren’t Born — They’re Trained — Learn CPR!” April 8-16. According to the AHA, at least 70 percent of cardiac emergencies occur in the home, and knowing CPR can be the difference between life and death.
