When South Brunswick residents went to the polls in April, we voted on a budget that included a full-time assistant principal in every South Brunswick school.
Now the residents of South Brunswick are finding out that only a couple of schools will have full-time assistant principals while the other schools must share an assistant principal. This is not what we voted for.
It seems the newer schools get more and more while the older schools have to fight for every nickel. Every South Brunswick resident pays taxes, so each school should be treated equally.
If South Brunswick is to maintain its reputation for educational excellence, we can’t shortchange our children. Each school should have a full-time assistant principal as we were promised.
