The North Brunswick Senior Center will hold its free "Movie & Popcorn" on Aug. 4 at 12:30 p.m., and show the film Music of the Heart.
The center’s "Lunch & Learn" program is scheduled for Aug. 14 at noon, with a speaker from Princeton Homecare.
There will be a free movie offered at Rutgers Cinemas, Aug. 17 at 10:30 a.m. (transportation will pick up beginning at 9 a.m.; title of movie to be announced approximately one week prior).
North Brunswick Mayor David Spaulding will be at the "Birthday Breakfast" on Aug. 18 to celebrate August birthdays (call office for times, and to R.S.V.P.). Also on Aug. 18 is a trip to the Point Pleasant boardwalk, with departure at 9 a.m. from the center (trip is full; waiting list only).
A trip to Monmouth Park Racetrack is scheduled for Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m.
The center needs volunteers to deliver meals between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. weekdays, and office volunteers for clerical duties. Call (732) 418-2222 for more information.
