    South River Parks and Recreation will sponsor its annual Fishing Derby from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 9 at Bissetts Pond in Grekoski Park, Whitehead Avenue. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Borough residents through age 13 are eligible to participate. Prizes will be awarded. Rain date is Aug. 16.
