Pancake Breakfast will benefit church
St. Ambrose Church will sponsor a Pancake Breakfast 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in the cafeteria at St. Ambrose School, 81 Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge. The event was organized by St. Ambrose Boy Scout Troop No. 129. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. All proceeds will benefit St. Ambrose Church.

Volleyball fundraiser to fight breast cancer
The East Brunswick High School (EBHS) girls volleyball team will raise money for breast-cancer research beginning at 5 p.m. Oct. 5 during a game at EBHS, Cranbury Road.
