Carnival will aid special-needs children
Zinna’s Bistro, 1275 South River Road, Cranbury, will host a Community Carnival noon-6 p.m. July 29. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Jamesburg Elks Special Needs Children Committee. The Jamesburg School District Board of Education approved a $40,667 salary for Terri Frielingsdorf, school secretary. Superintendent of Schools Gail Verona was paid $146,292 for the 2011-12 school year, with the most recent raise representing a 2.5 percent increase. The figures were incorrect in a July 12 article.
